Welcome to The Hip Hop Church Foundation — a revolutionary movement where faith meets rhythm, and where truth is spoken in a language the streets understand: Hip Hop. Founded by Pastor G.O.E. (God Over Everything), also known by his Hebrew name Shabar Matah (שבר מטה), meaning “Breakdown,” we are here to rap the Bible, break it down, and teach it unapologetically for this generation and the next.
At The Hip Hop Church, we believe that God’s Word was never meant to be boring, boxed in, or watered down. It’s alive. It’s raw. It’s rhythmic. And it’s more relevant than ever.
What We Do
🎤 The Holy Hip Hop Bible
We’re publishing a full rap version of the 1611 King James Bible — verse-for-verse and chapter-by-chapter — set to powerful, original Hip Hop beats. This is not a paraphrase or watered-down remix. This is the King James Version rapped almost verbatim, with a unique twist: commentary from Pastor G.O.E. appears in purple letters, offering rare but razor-sharp insight without overwhelming the sacred text.
📚 Weekly Courses & Commentary
Each weekly rap release is paired with an online Bible course, breaking down the historical, prophetic, and spiritual meaning behind the bars. We’re not just here to entertain — we’re here to educate, enlighten, and empower.
🎧 The Daily Word (Free Program)
Receive free 14-second doses of biblical truth daily — a verse or two, rapped over head-nodding beats to spark your spirit and shift your mindset.

Services
Welcome to The Hip Hop Church: Where Scripture Hits Different
Imagine this…
You walk into a space, it could be a church, a club, a festival, a community center, or even a rooftop in the city.
The DJ is on the turntables, but instead of spinning the usual tracks, he’s dropping pure scripture, the 1611 King James Version Holy Bible, rapped bar-for-bar over heavy-hitting Hip Hop beats.
This is the Hip Hop Bible.
The rapper is the pastor.
And the choreography? It’s inspired by the breakdancers, the movement, the culture, the streets.
Come As Ye Are.
You don’t need to dress up in a three-piece suit or wear hard bottoms to get close to God.
At The Hip Hop Church, you can come in urban streetwear, caps, kicks, and hoodies welcome.
Because we believe God looks at your heart, not your outfit.
How It Flows:
🎧 The Reader/DJ sets the tone with the beat.
🎤 The Rapper/Pastor (Pastor G.O.E.) opens with the Hip Hop Bible Song of the Week.
💃 The dancers move in sync, using choreography that visually tells the story.
🎭 As we grow, young performers will act out full biblical scenes, live, while Pastor G.O.E. raps the scriptures and breaks down the meaning. Like a Broadway musical or play.
📖 After the opening performance, we transition to a 30–45 minute lecture, diving deep into the context, prophecy, history, and life application.
🔁 Then we close with the second performance, bringing it all full circle, both entertaining and edifying.
It’s Not Just Church.
It’s an experience.
A movement.
A reintroduction to God’s Word through Hip Hop — the most dominant language of this generation.
This is The Hip Hop Church.
Where King David’s spirit meets the mic.
Where truth sounds like a beat drop.
Where you learn, feel, move, and grow, all in one place.
Who We Are
We’re a ministry on a mission. A kingdom movement in motion.
Pastor G.O.E. has studied the Bible intensely for over 30 years, and worked in the music industry for over 15 years, and with The Hip Hop Church, he’s combining his two greatest loves — God’s Word and Hip Hop — to awaken the masses.
Though we’re starting online, the impact is real and growing fast. Every verse is rapped with fire. Every lesson is loaded with truth. Every soul we touch is one step closer to destiny.
As long as there’s breath in his lungs, Pastor G.O.E. will continue teaching, rapping, and breaking down the Bible with surgical precision. He’s not going anywhere — and neither is the Hip Hop Church.
